Why did you decide to work at Kotter?

There are so many reasons why I decided to work at Kotter, but the main reasons were the passionate people, the culture that supports learning and development, and Kotter’s mission to help others. I am so incredibly grateful to be working with an amazing team and for a company truly dedicated to making this world a better place.

What is your proudest moment?

It had always been a goal of mine to take a year off to travel the world, but I either put it off or had been too scared to actually do it. In 2014 I quit my job and embarked on a year of travels, visiting 24 countries and over 65 cities throughout Europe and Asia. It was an unforgettable year of reconnecting with friends abroad, meeting new people from various cultural backgrounds, and creating memories I’ll never forget.

What in your background helps you in this job?

Having over ten years of experience in office management, accounting and finance has served me in my current role. My technical skills have also come in handy, alongside my willingness to jump in wherever a need arises.

What’s got you thinking right now?

There are so many dramatic shifts unfolding around the world right now. I find myself thinking about and grappling with the uncertainty of what’s ahead, asking the question: how can I make a positive impact?

Share something about you that would most surprise people.

I’ve completed two full marathons, eleven half marathons, two sprint triathlons, four 10K races, two Ragnar Northwest Passage races – a 200-mile team run – and, most recently, a Sprint Spartan race, which has inspired me to continue to challenge myself physically and sign up for a Super Spartan race in April 2017.
