Why did you decide to work at Kotter?
I felt – and feel – inspired by our mission. It’s true – we really do relentlessly ask: If the world saw more leadership from more people, what could change? Serving this organization is about something much bigger than just me.
If you weren’t working at Kotter, what would you be doing instead?
I currently volunteer to help women get their budgets on track so they can improve their financial fitness and live debt free. If I were not working at Kotter, I would spend my time doing more of that.
Who is your favorite leader?
I admire Leymah Gbowee, who brought Liberia’s women together during the country’s civil war. She organized and led the Liberian Mass Action for Peace. Together with an army of women, Leymah helped lead her country to peace.
What’s got you thinking right now?
On my mind is the student loan debt crisis. I’m also curious about robotics and Artificial Intelligence and how they will impact future unemployment rates.
Share something about you that would most surprise people.
I have a degree in Public Health. Many people have a meandering path that led them to the work they’re meant to do – I am no exception!
