Managing Director

Responsibilities:

Leadership Development Program Manager

Kotter International, a change management and strategy execution consulting firm, is seeking a talented individual to serve in a new role supporting the leadership development arm of the business.

Responsibilities and Near-Term Projects:

  • Combine modular elements of leadership development programs to create custom agendas and package collateral for use in delivery.
  • Create a virtual toolkit for course content.
  • Work with our team to develop an in-person session around a specific topic area, developing the ability to translate our research and IP into powerful learning experiences.
  • Serve as a liaison with consulting teams to more deeply leverage leadership development content to scale and sustain transformation at each client.
  • Partner with the Business Development team as needed to screen inquiries and foster opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree or commensurate experience.
  • Live in the greater Boston or Seattle area, or willing to relocate there. (Please note: Kotter does not provide a relocation package for this position.)
  • High emotional intelligence and a mission driven heartbeat.

Marketing Intern

Want to gain experience at a firm named one of the top company cultures in America by Entrepreneur magazine? Kotter International, a strategy execution and change consulting firm is looking for a Summer Marketing Intern. This role would report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with the Marketing and Business Development teams. This position will be exposed to the day-to-day work of the Marketing and Business Development functions, and have the opportunity to work cross functionally across all of Kotter. We are a fast-paced and rapidly growing team that creates the opportunity to take on great responsibility and get hands-on experience.

This paid internship runs May through August. Availability for at least 8 weeks, minimum 30 hours per week, required.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the charge to update and expand on competitive research.
  • Perform an analysis on and create recommendations for improving Kotter International’s social media strategy.
  • Assist with creative design projects for all functions of the business.
  • Manage, organize and archive all marketing files, folders and videos.
    Other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills required.
  • Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, think on your feet, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and a desire to learn!
  • Intrinsically motivated to raise your hand and go above and beyond.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships across functions, internally and externally.
  • Social media marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva preferred.
  • Experience with Vimeo and YouTube preferred.
  • Must be able to travel to Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA a minimum of 4 days per week at your own expense.
