With episodic change there is a challenge to get urgency in spurts.  The urgency must be there to sustain the sprint.

Continuous

Continuous change is a ceaseless flow of a combination of lots of changes.  

In the case of continuous change, it is a marathon.  Becoming adept at change must be an asset of the company to succeed for the long term.
