What Is the Seize Your Big Opportunity Contest?
At Kotter International, we believe in the transformative power of leadership. If there is one thing our work has taught us, it is that leaders everywhere, at all levels of their organizations, have extraordinary ideas to improve their places of work—they just sometimes need a hand in turning their vision into a reality.
That is why we launched the Seize Your Big Opportunity contest. Our goal is to guide leaders—at businesses, institutions and associations of all shapes and sizes—to begin transforming their organizations and positioning them for success.
Contest winners will take part in a tailor-made Big Opportunity Session led by Kotter International’s world-class change leadership professionals. The day-long session for senior leaders, based on the widely-adopted ideas of change leadership expert and Harvard business professor Dr. John Kotter, aims to:
- Align senior management around an opportunity for their organization in the market place;
- Generate a sense of urgency among all employees about that vision; and
- Lay the groundwork for change through Dr. Kotter’s 8-Step Process for Leading Change.
Who is Eligible to Participate?
We want to help organizations of all types and sizes to seize their big opportunity. Businesses, non-profits, associations, government agencies, schools, foundations, institutions—you name it—are all eligible.
What Do I Have to Do?
All you have to do is nominate your organization! Tell us about the big opportunity you see. Give us a few details about your company. We’ll take care of the rest.
How Will Kotter International Select the Winners?
Once we review nomination forms, we will invite a number of organizations with the most compelling cases for change to submit a more detailed application. Organizations with goals that are achievable, with senior leaders who are committed to the Big Opportunity, and with the capacity to build on the lessons of a one-day session will be selected. We do not have a limit on how many organizations will be selected.
