Online Marketing Manager

SUMMARY:
The online Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving, planning, executing and tracking online marketing activities in support of the company’s revenue and profit objectives through comprehensive strategies using online media including email, social networking, blogs and community forums. The individual should be experienced with SEM and SEO Search Campaigns. Excellent communication and copy-writing skills required to optimize website content and to ensure both search engine visibility and favorable user experience. Video coordination, production and editing experience required.
PRIMARY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Provides coordination and execution of all online marketing activities, partnering with the offline Marketing Manager for a synergistic approach. Demonstrated knowledge of marketing methods and procedures.
- Coordination & direction for the daily content on the web site and calendar of initiatives that impact online and offline marketing, PR and the outsourced design & development team.
- Experience in oversight of a web site design & production team in an e-commerce or content environment.
- Partners with management to establish online marketing needs and priorities and project these into a set of marketing strategies for each customer segment. Supports the establishment of strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate and business unit objectives.
- Responsible for the development and management of project budgets for marketing activities.
- Provides appropriate marketing analytics to measure spending effectiveness and gather key learning for continuous improvement.
- Involved with the planning and oversight of online advertising and promotional activities including, but not limited to advertising, search marketing, e-mail, blogs, community forums, and social media.
- Video coordination, production and editing experience.
- Experience with contact management systems.
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and copy-writing skills. Strong interpersonal and project management skills, as interaction with clients and presentations may be required.
- B to B and B to C experience preferred.
- Quick learner with ability to assimilate to social media changes as they occur. Thrive under pressure, as this position is often demanding.
- Experience in launching & building brands.
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
MBA preferred.
Over five years marketing experience including experience with online and offline marketing.
