Ken Perlman comes to Kotter International from a three year engagement with Ingram Micro, a wholesale provider of technology products and supply chain services. At Ingram, Perlman led a global technology implementation program and was responsible for driving large-scale change in the organization. He was responsible for leading the largest transformation in the company’s history which included an enterprise-wide SAP implementation. His group was responsible for the change management, leadership development, training, organizational development and human resource management related to the transformation.
Prior to Ingram, Ken spent 15 years consulting with Fortune 500 companies on change leadership, organizational development, leadership coaching, communication, training, business process redesign and new technology adoption. Ken was employed by Deloitte Consulting for much of that time, working with clients around the world including Levi Strauss & Co., Warner Bros., and Nestlé. He also helped develop the firm’s Change Leadership methodology which leverages Dr. Kotter’s 8-Step Process for Leading Change. Ken’s other internal efforts focused on business development, leadership retention, talent management, and recruiting. Ken was recognized as one of the firm’s top senior managers.
Prior to consulting, Ken served as a Research Analyst at the Kravis Leadership Institute at Claremont McKenna College. His research focused on the fields of leadership and organizational effectiveness. He received his B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
Ken is the father of Ruby and Sadie and lives in southern California with his wife Anastasia.
