Russell Raath is a member of the team responsible for supporting our major client engagements.
Most recently, prior to joining Kotter, Russell spent time in the financial services industry. In his capacity as the Leadership Development Executive within the Global Wealth and Investment Management business at Bank of America he helped drive change from within Bank of America.
Prior to working at Bank of America, Russell was a senior manager with Deloitte Consulting in the financial services consulting group where he was responsible for leading client engagements in the banking and insurance practice group within Human Capital. His focus included advising and guiding companies to address operational and strategic challenges. His work has covered a range of subject areas, with projects including operational excellence initiatives, change leadership engagements, customer relationship management projects, and technology transformations. Recognized as a subject matter expert in his field, Russell has spoken at numerous industry conferences and conventions.
Russell has been an active consultant to the William J. Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative in New York. Over the course of Russell’s career, he has worked in the United States as well as in Europe and Africa with some of the world’s most recognized and reputable companies.
He received his bachelor’s degree in commerce and laws from the University of Port Elizabeth, Nelson Mandela University in South Africa. Russell also studied at the New York Institute of Finance.
Russell was born in Zimbabwe and spent time living and working in South Africa and Zimbabwe before moving to the United States. Russell lives in New York with his wife and three daughters.
