With 20 years of experience consulting for Fortune 500 companies, Ken Perlman specializes in helping clients achieve their strategic goals with accelerated results. Ken has worked with some of Kotter International’s most successful clients across multiple industries, functions, and geographies. He has demonstrated success in partnering with both individuals and teams – from the C-suite to the shop floor – in countries all around the world.
Ken came to Kotter International after serving as an executive with Ingram Micro, a Fortune 100 company and a global leader in supply chain services. Ken led the largest global transformation program in the company’s history which included a global roll-out of SAP and a global standardization on lean process adoption.
For the 13 years prior, Ken worked at Deloitte Consulting with international clients including Levi Strauss & Co., Warner Bros., Kaiser Permanente, Stryker Orthopaedics, Nordstrom, Edison International, and Nestlé. While there, he also helped develop Deloitte’s Change Leadership methodology – which was based on Dr. Kotter’s 8-Step Process for Leading Change. Ken’s client service focused on change leadership, organizational design, leadership coaching, communication, training, business process redesign, and new technology adoption. Ken’s internal firm efforts focused on executive and leadership retention, talent management, and recruiting.
Prior to his work in consulting, Ken worked in retail management at Nordstrom and then Limited Brands working on the Macy’s/Bullock’s Executive Training Program.
In addition to client service, Ken also serves as a workshop facilitator, keynote presenter, and writer.
Ken received his B.A. from Claremont McKenna College, where he was a research assistant at the Kravis Leadership Institute. His research focused on the fields of leadership and organizational effectiveness. He also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
Ken is the very proud father of two daughters and lives in southern California with his amazing wife.
